bismillah

Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa a(l)nnabiyyeena lama ataytukum min kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakum rasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latuminunna bihi walatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtum AAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarna qala fa(i)shhadoo waana maAAakum mina a(l)shshahideen(a)

And recall when Allah-SWT took a bond from the Prophets-AS: “Whatever of the Book and the wisdom I gave you, and then comes to you a Messenger-AS confirming what is with you, you shall believe in him-AS and help him-AS.” And He-SWT asked, “Do you agree and accept My burden unconditionally?” They answered, “We do affirm.” He-SWT said, “Then bear witness and I-SWT am with you among the witnesses.”

(3:81)

Faman tawalla baAAda thalika faolaika humu alfasiqoon(a)

Now whoever turns away after this, it is they who are the transgressors.

(3:82)

Afaghayra deeni Allahi yabghoona walahu aslama man fee a(l)ssamawati wa(a)larditawAAan wakarhan wailayhi yurjaAAoon(a)

Do they seek any other religion than Allah-SWT’s? Unto Him-SWT has surrendered whatever is in the heavens and in the earth, willingly or unwillingly. And to Him-SWT shall all be brought back.

(3:83)

Qul amanna bi(A)llahi wama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAala ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba wa(a)lasbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa wa(al)nnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoon(a)

Say, “We believe in Allah-SWT , and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Ibrahim-AS and Ishaq-AS and Ya’qub-AS and their descendants and in what was given by their Rabb-SWT to Musa-AS and ‘Isa-AS and other Prophets-AS. We discriminate amongst none of them, and unto Him-SWT we surrender."

(3:84)

Waman yabtaghi ghayra alislami deenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee alakhirati mina alkhasireen(a)

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him and in the Akhirah, he shall be among the losers.

(3:85)

Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroo baAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna a(l)rrasoola haqqun wajaahumu albayyinatu wa(A)llahu la yahdee alqawma a(l)ththalimeen(a)

How shall Allah-SWT guide people who reject faith after accepting it and after they bore witness that the Messenger-AS was true, and after all evidence had come to them? And Allah-SWT does not guide unjust people.

(3:86)

Olaika jazaohum anna AAalayhim laAAnata Allahi wa(a)lmalaikati wa(al)nnasi ajmaAAeen(a)

Their reward is that on them shall be the curse of Allah-SWT , of the angels and of all mankind.

(3:87)

Khalideena feeha la yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoon(a)

Therein shall they abide, neither their punishment shall be lightened nor shall they be granted any respite.

(3:88)

Illa allatheena taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheem(un)

Except those who repent afterwards and make amends; for Allah-SWT is Forgiving, Merciful.

(3:89)

Inna allatheena kafaroo baAAda eemanihim thumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waolaika humu a(l)ddalloon(a)

Indeed those who reject faith after having accepted it and then grow in their defiance, their repentance shall by no means be accepted. It is those who are astray.

(3:90)

Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoo wahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim milo alardthahaban walawi iftada bihi olaika lahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireen(a)

Surely those who reject faith and die as non-believers, not all the gold on earth could ever be their ransom. For them, grievous punishment is in store and they shall find no helpers.

(3:91)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

And recall when Allah-SWT ...he shall be among the losers.

The Holy Prophet-SW, against whom the Jews are concocting excuses in order to deny him-SW, is so illustrious that he-SW has been raised for the entire mankind. He-SW is not only the Prophet-SW of his-SW own Ummah but also the Prophet-SW and leader of all other Prophets-AS. He-SW is so exalted in status that Allah-SWT took an oath from all the Prophets-AS that when they would be blessed by Divine Scripture and knowledge i.e. raised as Prophets-AS they will have to believe in him-SW and also help him-SW because he-SW would verify their raising too. Allah-SWT said: “So do you take an oath?” They replied: “Yes O Allah-SWT !” Then Allah-SWT commanded. “Now be a witness to this and I am also a witness.”

It is worth remembering that the term Hikmah (knowledge) is mentioned each time together with Scripture. This is because the meanings of Allah-SWT’s Book are vouchsafed to the Prophets-AS from Him-SWT , in the name of Hikmah. Therefore, any meanings given to the Book contrary to the teachings of a Prophet-AS are not acceptable at all.

The real Divine Beneficence bestowed on the entire creation is delivered solely through the noble personality of the Holy Prophet-SW. Since the basis of all endowments is His-SWT Mercy-may it be Wilayah, Prophethood, Messengership, Stations of Allah-SWT ’s Nearness or Paradise, and the Holy Prophet Muhammad-SW is the personification of Allah-SWT ’s Mercy.

According to ‘Allama Subki there has never been a Prophet-AS through time who did not himself vowed to believe in the Holy Prophet-SW, or who did not command his-AS Ummah to believe in him-SW, and to support him-SW when raised. The era of Holy Prophet-SW's Prophethood encompasses the entire mankind from Prophet Aadam-AS’s time until the end of time. This is why every dying person when questioned about Allah-SWT’s Providence, his Prophet-AS and his Din, is also asked about the Holy Prophet-SW. Then veils are lifted between the dead and the Holy Prophet-SW, who before his birth was stationed in the ‘Alam-e-Amr and now in his sacred tomb. So whether a person died in the period of Prophet Aadam-AS or Prophet Nuh-AS the same question is put forth to all.

Recognition Of Holy Prophet-SW Based On Faith

It is clear that only those having faith shall recognize the Holy Prophet-SW in Barzakh. People who lived centuries before his-SW raising will recognize him-SW provided they had faith in him-SW. And those who actually saw him-SW but remained deprived of faith in him-SW will neither see nor recognize him-SW in Barzakh. Although the veils between the person and the Holy Prophet-SW are removed by Allah-SWT yet their deliberated repudiation becomes a barrier of darkness.

Allah-SWT declares that those who deny the Holy Prophet-SW are disobedient. Are they in search of some religion other than the one revealed by Allah-SWT ? Whereas whatever lies between the heavens and the earth, whether by choice or compulsion, submits to Him-SWT and shall ultimately return to Him-SWT .

O you, the addressed! Say that we believe in Allah-SWT and that, which has been revealed to us and revealed prior to us to Prophets Ibrahim-AS, Isma’il-AS, Ishaq-AS, Ya’qub-AS and his-AS children. We also believe in all that had been bestowed upon Prophets Musa-AS and Isa-AS or other Prophets-AS and we do not discriminate among them by believing in some and rejecting others. We are the servants of Allah-SWT truly obedient and amenable. And this is Islam. The Message conveyed by each Prophet-AS was worthy of obedience in its own time and ought to be believed in forever. Every Prophet-AS invited people to Unity and asked his-AS Ummah to believe in his-AS as well as the Holy Prophet-SW’s Prophethood. However, the mode of worshipping and the practical details of each religion varied with time and people. Therefore, whenever a Prophet-AS was raised, his-AS obedience was termed as Islam. And now, having faith in all the Prophets-AS and obedience to the Holy Prophet-SW is Islam. If someone opts for any other path it shall not be accepted and he will be condemned and be a victim of everlasting fortune.

How shall Allah-SWT guide a people ... and they shall find no helpers.

So the people who had, through the guidance of their own Prophets-AS Books, accepted the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet-SW, endorsed him-SW as a true Messenger of Allah-SWT , and then witnessed the subduing miracles manifested at his-SW hands and saw and heard clear signs, yet reverted back to disbelief shall never be guided by Allah-SWT.Such transgressors are deprived of the capacity to strive on the right path leading to Paradise. They are accursed by Allah-SWT and driven away from His-SWT Mercy as well as are eternally accursed by the angels and the people. There shall be no alleviation in their suffering nor will they be permitted to relax. Yet there is one ray of hope for them that they mend their ways both in belief and practice and repent before Allah-SWT , for He-SWT certainly is Most Forgiving and Merciful.

Praise be to Allah-SWT ! How vast and unlimited is His-SWT Mercy that even after committing countless mistakes, the repentant are not deprived of forgiveness. Those who turned apostates, that is, the People of the Book, had faith in the Holy Prophet-SW according to their own Books and awaited his-SW arrival, yet they resorted to disbelief and persisted on it once he-SW was raised. They shall stand deprived of the capacity to repent. There is a limit to indulgence in sin, beyond which the heart becomes so dark that the capacity to repent is denied.

Such are the people who have gone astray. Verily those who resorted to disbelief and died as such, may be rich enough to possess earth full of gold and take it along, though both are impossible, yet this shall not avert the punishment in the Akhirah even if they offer it in exchange. In other words, if one dies as a non-believer there is no salvation for him and he shall dwell in Hell eternally. May Allah-SWT protect us! Such unfortunate ones shall be condemned to a painful doom, with no one to support or intercede for them.
